DRAG REDUCING AGENT

Drag Reducing Agent : we offer drag reducing agent in liquid as well as dray powder form for pipelines, the dra offered by us are based on polymers, solid-particle suspensions, biological additives, and surfactants. these agents are made out of high molecular weight polymers or micellar systems. the polymers help with drag reduction by decreasing turbulence in the oil lines. this allows for oil to be pumped through at lower pressures, saving energy and money. these drag reducing agents are mostly used in oil lines.

POLYMER ADDITIVES

CURING AGENT

CURING AGENT - CURING AGENTS OR HARDENERS PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE CURING KINETICS, GEL TIME, DEGREE OF CURING, VISCOSITY, CURING CYCLE AND THE FINAL PROPERTIES OF THE CURED PRODUCTS.

APPLICATION : curing agent for polyurethane elastomer and epoxy resins. The trend is going to non-toxic products for environmental protection.

ANTI-OXIDANT - ANTIOXIDANTS

ANTIOXIDANTS INTERRUPT THE DEGRADATION PROCESSES IN POLYOLEFINS POLYMERIZATION AND COMPOUNDING. THEY ARE ALSO SUITABLE, AS WELL, FOR MANY OTHER POLYMERS LIKE STYRENICS, PVC, SBC, ETC.

TYPES OF ANTIOXIDANTS:

  • PRIMARY ANTIOXIDANTS: HINDRED PHENOL TYPE: RADICAL SCAVENGERS
  • SECONDARY ANTIOXIDANTS: PHOSPHITE; HYDROPEROXIDE DECOMPOSERS
  • ANTIOXIDANTS: THIOETHER TYPE
  • ANTIOXIDANT BLENDING TYPE: MIX OF PRIMARY AO (HINDRED PHENOL TYPE AO) WITH SECONDARY AO (PHOSPHITE TYPE AO)

LIGHT STABILIZER

Light Stabilizers Can Be Added To Plastics To Protect Them From The Degradative Effects Of Exposure To Sun And Weather. Polyolefins Are Susceptible To Attack By Ultraviolet Light, Oxygen, Moisture, And Heat Resulting In Polymer Brittleness, Surface Crazing, Color Change And Product Failure.

LIGHT STABILIZERS: (HINDRED AMINE TYPE)

UV ABSORBER

They are used to protect plastics and other materials against degradation from long term exposure to UV radiation. Exposure of plastics to the UV radiation in sunlight initiates degradation through a photo-oxidative process. This can produce a number of undesirable effects including changes in appearance (discoloration, changes in gloss, and/or chalking), deterioration of mechanical properties, and the formation of visible defects such as cracks. Fluorescent lamps used for indoor lighting also emit UV radiation, but at a much lower intensity than sunlight.

ANTI-STATIC AGENTS

Antistatic agents are used in process for the low-pressure polymerization of olefins to avoid electrostatic charging of the forming polymer particles. It is believed that the antistatic agents reduce wall sheeting and formation of polymer agglomerates in the polymerization reactor and

  • GLYCEROL MONOSTEARATE 90% - IT IS AN EXCELLENT ANTISTATIC AGENT FOR POLYOLEFINS THAT PROVIDES SEVERAL BENEFICIAL SIDE EFFECTS (E. G. LUBRICATION AND MOLD RELEASE) AND HAS WIDE FOOD CONTACT APPROVALS. ANTISTATIC AGENTS MAKE THE SURFACE OR THE MATERIAL ITSELF SLIGHTLY CONDUCTIVE, EITHER BY BEING CONDUCTIVE ITSELF, OR BY ABSORBING MOISTURE FROM THE AIR; THEREBY ELIMINATE BUILDUP OF STATIC ELECTRICITY.

  • AMINE DERIVATIVE – ANTISTAT FOR POLYOLEFINS, IT IS AN EFFECTIVE INTERNAL ANTISTATIC AGENT USED IN FILMS, INJECTION, MOULDING AND SHEET EXTRUSION OF PE / PP & STYRENICS. IT IS ALSO USED AS PROCESS AID IN SOME PP MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
